Cane with curved handle

The cane with a curved handle is basically a cane used for support while walking and can also be considered a clothing accessory. The cane with a curved handle can also be used as a weapon, however.

The first fighting techniques with the curved handle stick (walking stick) appeared in the book of the American Andrew Chase Cunningham "The Cane as a Weapon” appeared in 1912. Andrew Chase Cunningham was a civil engineer attached to the US military and also the president of the Washington DC Fencing Organization

Combining his fencing experience he developed a set of self-defense techniques using the curved-handled cane and umbrella. His techniques were then developed by many practitioners around the world, especially in Europe.

The American author's curved-handled stick fighting techniques are ambidextrous, using hand-to-hand walking of the stick or even two-handed techniques.
