Ninjato is the sword used by ninjas (written with kanji - 忍者刀). It is also known as ninjaken or shinobigata. Ninjato it is the most famous weapon used by ninja fighters in feudal Japan. Historically there is no physical evidence of the existence of this sword - ninjato. But it is believed that this sword is a combination of two traditional swords - wakizashi (short sword) and chokuto (right sword). Ninjato it was the main weapon of the fighters ninjas.
