BJJ Kimono "MB-07"

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Kimonos are kimonos made specifically for BJJ. They are neither tight-fitting like karate kimonos nor with wide sleeves like judo ones.

The cut of a BJJ kimono is special. The back and front half of this kimono are one piece, avoiding the use of a large number of joining seams for maximum strength.

Both light BJJ kimonos are used for training (usually made of ripstop material) and thick BJJ kimonos for competitions (made of materials with different textures: gold weave, honeycomb weave and pearl weave).

The size of BJJ gis is expressed with the help of the letters A and M. The letter A comes from adults, the M stands for children's sizes.

Thus we have sizes from A0 to A6 and measures for children from M0 to M4. Usually the manufacturer also displays a table with indications that can help you identify the type that suits you.
