Description

The Murasakiiro Aikuchi Tanto is an elegant Japanese knife with a hand-forged blade of exceptional quality.

Aikuchi is a way of mounting a Japanese blade so that Tsuki (the handle) and saya (sheath) to meet without having a tsuba (guard between them). Initially this type of mount was used for koshigatana (a precursor to wakizashi). In period Edo it became a fashion for the mounting style a so much. sMALL aikuchi NAMED all right became known through yakuza because they could be easily concealed.
