Instructions for use sharp swords

1. These swords are intended for sporting exercises, they are not weapons of war.
2. They are weapons that will be used exclusively in "tameshigiri" cutting exercises on tatami mats. Omote tatami (rice straw rolls) will be kept under water (to soak) for a minimum of 6 (six) hours before use.
3. Before use, check the stability of the blade in the handle and the presence of rivets (mekugi) between the blade and the handle.
4. Practice under the guidance of a teacher, never alone. Improper handling of the sword can damage it.
5. The use of other materials for cutting can lead to damage to the weapon exclusively due to the fault of the user.
6. After use clean the sword according to the maintenance instructions.
7. Careful! This weapon is a sharp weapon and improper handling can cause serious injury or even death to the user or bystanders. We strongly recommend use only by persons trained in the use of these weapons and only by responsible persons. Responsibility for use rests entirely with the user.
